Ciao!! We are the Cecot family.

Da Cecot is a family-run business with a rich heritage that blends the vibrant cultures of Nigeria and Italy. After a lifetime spent in the charming small town of Plasencis and the scenic winery hills of Cormons, we made the life-changing move to Canada in 2021. Driven by the belief that opportunities are meant to be embraced, we brought with us the cherished traditions, authentic flavors, and heartfelt warmth of Italian cuisine to share with our new community.

Our family story began over a shared love for Strucchi, a traditional treat from Cividale. It was over these little pastries that we fell in love, earning the playful nickname Strucchi from our family. From there, our journey blossomed into a whirlwind adventure as a chaotic but loving family of four. In many ways, cooking has always been at the heart of who we are, shaping our lives and connecting us to our roots. We hope you enjoy our food and the community we are building here!
